Obtain a Sim Card

1.   Australian Visit Visas for GCC nationals obtained by us - we are able to apply for stays up to 3 months, with a 2-year validity, only documents required are filled forms and passport copies.  Please follow the simple and convenient steps below:

  • Click here to download the Application Form and fill it completely and accurately
  • Ensure that your passport has a 6-months validity and prepare a clear copy of that
  • If the application is for a minor (i.e. a child below 18 years of age) and is  not  accompanied by  both the parents while travelling to Australia, then consent from non travelling parent is required in Form 1229 and also passport or ID copies of the parent having specimen signature.
  • If the child is less than 18 years (Minor) and travelling alone then consent from both parents required in Form 1229 and also an undertaking declaration required in Form 1257 from a guardian.  Passport or ID copies of the parents / guardian having specimen signature required along with forms.
  • Email all the above details to visa@lawand.com
  • The Visit Visa fees can be convenient paid by one of the following convenient ways:  visiting one of our offices in the GCC;  by credit card;  by bank transfer;  by direct deposit into our bank account

5.   Groceries in your apartment delivered by us - if you are arriving to Gold Coast at an awkward hour, when supermarkets will not be open or when you are too tired to go out to a supermarket, we provide an exclusive service whereby your ordered necessity products like Water, Milk, Fruits, etc. are bought and placed in your apartment just before you arrive.  The service itself is free; you just need to pay for the actual groceries that you order.  Please click "Groceries in your apartment" on top of this page


6.  SIM card/s organised by us - We obtain and activate, free of charge, SIM cards for just about any mobile or smart phone, be it Nokia, iphone 4, 4s or 5, Samsung S3 or S4, Blackberry, etc.  You pay only for the Credit of the card, which is AUD30.  Two SIM cards are on offer:  Optus which is the better option if usage will be mostly Internet and calls within Australia;  Lebera which is the option if usage will be mostly for international calls.  So for Viber, Whatsapp, BBM, Skype, etc., it is best to have the Optus card.  For calls back home to a landline or mobile number, then it is best to have the Lebara card.  To have your numbers reserved for you before you even leave your home country, all you need do is scan and email to us a copy of your passport or your ID card or your driver’s license and click on "Obtain a Sim Card" on top of this page.  We can deliver the SIM card/s to you in various ways:

  • If you have booked an airport transfer with us, our driver will pass it/them onto you as soon as you clear Customs (if you are arriving at Brisbane airport or Gold Coast airport, no extra charges apply but for other Australian airports, an extra charge will apply)
  • If your first place of accommodation is Gold Coast, we can pass it/them onto you at check-in time
  • If you wish to have it/them with you before you leave your home country, we can courier it/them to you (courier charges will be levied)
